Position Purpose:
The Product Manager in Philippines, plans, organizes and controls an assigned product line from conceptual stages through product life cycles to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial and corporate growth objectives.
The Product Manager is ultimately responsible for architecting, designing, creating and maintaining all of CaseData’s proprietary applications.
The Application Development Manager is also responsible for the management of the Application Development team, which consists of developers with various strengths and skills sets.
He/she is responsible to ensure that the concepts, requirements, product marketing materials and a variety of analyses for new products and product improvements are created and maintained.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Participates in overall product strategy, research & development requirements and product design for new and emerging products.
•Ensures that products are market ready before release.
•Provides technical expertise and training to other departments in support of product development.
•Day-to-day project management of Philippine team, coordination and delivery of projects related to assigned products.
•Conducts market research to assist Management with identifying market trends in the Company's industry.
•Maintains communications and contacts to collect and analyze technical, financial, schedule and sales information for product line.
Required Skills and Experience:
•Minimum of 5 years experience in designing and developing databases and database systems of a software product or system.
•Strong experience with data analysis, data modeling and full-text indexing and searching.
•Must have strong experience with project management methodologies.
•Requires minimum of three years of technical product or project management experience using industry-standard techniques, tools and principles involved in planning and delivering new products and services.
•Requires demonstrated ability to understand and translate non-technical feature descriptions into structured use cases, requirements and specifications for technical audiences.
•Requires excellent oral and written communication skills in English including vocabulary, spelling, composition and grammar.
•Ability to communicate software project design goals, status, and timetable to Management in Utah and Philippines.
•Experience estimating the software project costs and resource requirements.
•Experience evaluating software and development technologies.
•Understanding of design patters and their use in solving common software problems.
•Experience in designing and developing databases and database systems.
•7+ years of experience as in IT, preferably as a Developer or Architect.
•Strong experience with data analysis and data modeling.

The selected candidate will be a key hands-on contributor to developing, maintaining and extending functional and automated test scenarios for web and client/server based products.
This Senior SQA Lead is also responsible for documenting the testing processes and procedures, training and managing QA team members, execute tests and interpret the results, and to help prepare the collective test automation skill set within the team.
