Career Opportunity: GSM/CDMA Technical Account Manager for Asia (Makati City)

Client background:

Our client is a Danish company specialized in developing Software Solutions and Consulting Services for Telecom companies worldwide; and is the number one player in the area of Network Business Intelligence solutions for the telecom industry.

Our client’s technology applies for telecommunication operators that use Nokia, Alcatel, Ericsson, Nortel and Siemens switching equipment. They also have network surveillance systems that are based on cutting edge technologies.

Currently our client is looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager, who will help driving the company towards its ambitious targets in the Asian market.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience working with one or more GSM or CDMA platforms, i.e. as a NSS engineer at a mobile operator
  • Experience with software development processes and project management
  • 3-5 years proven track record in software sales and consultancy for telecom companies in Asia.
  • The candidate must have a solid network in the telecom market;
  • Preferably candidates with technical telecom background.
  • Have experience in driving a deal from first contact to close of contract.
  • Self management skills (responsibility, discipline, planning and organization);
  • Fluent in English;
  • Good communication skills (be able to talk to people on various levels).
  • Expected skills: Technical education; Systematic and precise work habits; Flair for solving complex problems; Sympathetic and able to talk to people on various levels; Positive attitude and an open mind toward learning new skills; Experience with network management/administration

Responsibilities:

  • Participating in the implementation of solutions at Telco operators around the world, though with main focus on Telco’s in Asia.
  • Technical account management on Telco’s from acceptance of meetings, to trial installations, to implementation of solutions – mainly in Asia.
  • Furthermore you shall participate in building and growing the Company working with tasks on tactical and operational levels.
  • 80 days travel
  • Philippine based not work from home
