Our client manufactures and markets generic pharmaceutical and biotechnology products in many parts of the world. They also markets researched based pharmaceutical products from major international companies. They also contract manufactures for leading R&D based multinational pharmaceutical companies.

Responsibilities:

• The primary responsibility for the marketing planning process for the product.
• Develop the annual product marketing plan based on effective market definition and segmentation, an understanding of relevant customer needs, a thorough analysis of market data, and identification of critical market trends and opportunities.
• The Product Manager will develop and execute all growth & market building strategies and tactics, including programs that target prescribers, influencers, and consumers.
• Gain management approval by presenting detailed tactical plans prior to implementation of programs.
• Lead all aspects of tactical implementation, including timelines, creation of promotional materials, and training of internal stakeholders and field sales force.
• Develop creative briefs for promotional materials and programs to gain advance management approval.
• The Product Manager will evaluate effectiveness of market building strategies and tactics, including development of program success metrics, evaluation criteria, and feedback mechanisms.
• Accountable for program life-cycle management, and return-on-investment analysis.

Requirements:

• At least two (2) years marketing experience in either Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical "product", specifically in Cardiovascular products.
• Must have 2 years of successful product management experience.
• Must have prior product launch or product line extension experience within the Pharma/Biotech industry.
• Must have experience building markets.
