In-house Marine Superintendent

Overview: Our client was registered in 1995 to be an industrial trade company that will supply value engineering and Japanese branded equipment, and accessories. The people behind the company has significant track record in oil and gas, marine and engineering conceptualized the need to entrench foot hold in other growing industries like refinery improvements, semi conductor expansions and independent power plant‘s rigorous operations.

Requirements:
1.10 years experience in all marine engineering and maintenance. (w/ license an advantage)
2.Strong in hands on overhauling in marine propulsion equipment and auxiliaries.
3.Familiar in the marine engineering theories.
4.Willing to interact with people and self starter.
5.Willing to sharpen the individual skills in cost estimating of maintenance projects.
6.Above average reporting skills and knowledge in spread sheet and word.
7.Willing to work long hours.
8. Should be able to join the company on January 2009.


BACKGROUND:

1.The long standing strategy of getting contracts to establish the revenue stream of ISG should be implemented the balance of the year. The 360 visit with one of our clients confirmed that this is the right direction.

2.The goal is negotiate a continuing service and maintenance intervention to assure that clients vessel machinery are in good condition and will comply to industry standards.

3.LPC will reinforce the TSG department with an experienced marine superintendent. We will later on rationalize if we can designate him as interim TSG supervisor.

4.Target client: NN KGLI and Oceanic.

JOB FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
1.To board vessel and consolidate important data and information on vessel machinery performance and condition.

2To analyze and understand important operation parameters and report to Clients management.

3.To generate maintenance schedules and heat rate projects that will comply to the austerity parameters as agreed with LPC management.

4.To implement and actualize these schedules in order to support the bigger engagement indices as agreed by client and PNKC ISG management. These are: 0 hours down time, fuel consumption as shown in shaft performance trial and a specific maintenance cost. All these should result in profit appropriate to the projections of the previous year.
