Business Unit Head (Ortigas, Pasig)

Overview:
Our client manufactures and markets generic pharmaceutical and biotechnology products in many parts of the world. They also markets researched based pharmaceutical products from major international companies. They also contract manufactures for leading R&D based multinational pharmaceutical companies.

Responsibilities:
Responsible to achieve the annual and long term sales objectives of the Company.
Shall develop an adequate marketing strategy to increase the Company's market share in units and values in the market, in synergy with the other business and support units of the Company.
Aggressive launch of new products in order to minimize the span between approval and launch date, with adequate promotional campaigns that assure market share taking. Direct control over promotion and marketing and direct selling expenses.
Sound management of sales terms, distribution channels and policies and commercial policies.
Efficient, timely and accurate reporting of marketing and sales activities, results, opportunities and exposures to General Manager.

Requirements:
Degree in Marketing, Business or Medical Sciences, preferably with MBA
At least 2 years experience as head of sales and marketing, or as Marketing Manager or Group Product Manager with at least 2 years Sales Management exposure in the ethical pharmaceutical setting
Must have strong background in Product Management, Market research and New Product Development with at least 2 years experience in at least one of these disciplines
Must be able to interpret financial reports, P&L for products and lead budget planning.
Established ties and relationship with Key Opinion Leaders in the Anti-infectives, Gastro-enterology and Pulmonology.
Must have strong bias towards scientific demand creation, saleforce effectiveness and people orientation.
Must be available to join Getz Pharma in 15 to 30 days time
