Accounting Clerk Job Opportunity (Makati)

CLIENT PROFILE: Our Client is the exclusive representative of various manufacturers and suppliers from around the world. It is engaged in the business of INDENTING/ IMPORTING/ STOCKING/ MARKETING & DISTRIBUTION of SPECIALTY CHEMICALS for the paint, inks, construction, coating, rubber, plastics, adhesives, resins, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and personal care, petroleum, vegetable oil, food & beverage and other industries.

Requirements:

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• Must have at least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Must have sufficient experience in general accounting.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must be willing to work in Makati.
• 1 Full-Time position available.
• Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers and journals; posts debits and credits; records receipts and balances to accounting system; examine and records financial transactions and charges to proper account.
• Compiles data for preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for both regulatory and management
• Prepares trial balances and balance sheets/income statement
• Prepares the bank reconciliation
• Handle collections of accounts receivable and payment schedules of accounts payable
• Handle attendance monitoring and payroll preparation
• Handle preparation of quotations, billings and delivery receipts
• Assist in getting shipping rates/quotations
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
