Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree related in security/safety management or equivalent.
* 5 to 7 years experience in security and safety management, military or police (for individual contributors without security teams: 3-5 years).
* Must have excellent software skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Strong problem solving skills.
* Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status.
* Willing to work in Makati.
Responsibilities:
* The National Security manager will ensure that the company is the benchmark for security excellence in the air express industry. Initiate, coordinate and implement investigations and other security incidents relating to the company's assets, personnel and shipments. Develop, implement and monitor policies, procedures and security practices to safeguard the company's employees, shipments, assets and information against loss and damage.
* Provide professional security and support to customers.
* Provide direction, support and advice to management on security matters.
* Provide advice on any security-related changes and recommend practices to ensure policies and business needs are met to specifications.
* Source appropriate security vendors and consultants for the purchase of security equipment, undertaking of investigations, etc.
* Monitor and audit the security services provided and maintain a monthly performance report.
* Establish professional liaison with Law Enforcement, Security Officials, Local Authorities and Regulatory Bodies, Security Consultants, Private Investigators to ensure strong links are maintained between the company and such authorities.
* Enlist the support of all company staff to ensure that the organization’s environment is safe and secure.
* Liaise closely with regional counterparts to ensure a cohesive and effective security strategy.
* Provide regular updates to the Regional Office on security issues.
* Coordinate country security activities and ensure compliance of the company's staff and subcontractors with security procedures as specified in the Regional Security Policy and Procedures Manual.
* Coordinate the implementation of stipulated and other relevant Security training programs for all employees.
* Conduct security audits and assist other audit teams, both proactively and reactively to assess the effectiveness of security practices and procedures at country sites.
* Prepare and analyze the database information for the production of regular reports on shipment and other security incidents, including Dangerous Goods. Where appropriate, recommend and initiate actions to investigate and resolve significant security incidents as they occur.
* Maintain a current threat and risk analysis by systematic analysis of national and international events and criminal trends to regional security policies and procedures.
