Development Supervisor

Our client specializes in making Online Retailing a success for Airlines. They offer Online Booking Platform, Fares Platform and Web Services. In addition to these core solutions, our client also provides a range of consultancy and integration services to ensure their customers achieve online success. The company is composed of a team of industry specialists with extensive experience in the Airline and Technology sectors.

Responsibilities:

Supervises software development activities which may include one or more of the following:

a) software systems development - oversees the design, development, troubleshooting and debugging of software for operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, etc.
b) software applications development - oversees the analysis, design, programming, debugging, and modification of computer programs for commercial or end user applications such as materials management, financial management, HRIS, or personal applications products (e.g., spreadsheets, tax packages, personal finance programs).
c) quality assurance - develops quality standards for company products, oversees the development and execution of software test plans, and analysis of test results.

Provides guidance to subordinates to achieve goals in accordance with established policies.

Requirements:

Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Musts - Strong and proven proficiency in web development using JAVA 5 and 6
Musts - Has worked on full cycle software development that works on a genuine Agile discipline (e.g. Scrum, Test Driven environment , Unit testing).
Musts - Has worked on Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
Musts - Strong leadership skills , both on technical and people management perspective. Strong initiative,proactive and forward thinking. Innovative and assertive.
Musts - Able to work on flexible hours to adjust to timezones of both external and internal clients across the globe.
Musts - Good communication skills . Flexible and able to adopt to a multi cultural environment
Nice to have - Airline travel domain experience
Required language(s): English, Filipino
Applicants must be willing to work in Ortigas City.
