Responsibilities:

Development, configuration, implementation and support of intelligent data capture applications.
Provide development services, internally and externally, relating to imaging applications.
Deploy changes into production
Production review and acceptance of offshore application development

* Preparing requirements briefs for offshore development work
* Developing, configuring and implementing data capture applications
* Providing Level 3 support for data capture applications
* Creating and maintaining documentation
* Managing the testing and deployment of application changes
* Reviewing offshore application development changes prior to production acceptance
* Leading requirements gathering workshops with clients where required
* Performing problem diagnosis and solving technical issues relating to imaging and data capture applications
* Where required, ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are met
* Ensure Business Management System policies and procedures are adhered to
* Ensure Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to
* Ensure Security policies and procedures are adhered to

Requirements:

* .NET/C# development
* Intelligent data capture solution design experience
* Experience in data capture software e.g. Kofax, Captiva, TIS, ReadSoft
* Experience with scanners and imaging solutions, including OCR, classification, image enhancement etc.

Other Essential Skills/Knowledge:

* Ability to analyze requirements and design solutions to meet those requirements
* Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
* Comprehensive understanding of document imaging solutions, including OCR, classification, image enhancement etc.
* Expert knowledge of intelligent data capture solutions
* Design and analysis of forms for high-end imaging software platforms
* Experience of systems integration and solution architecture relating to imaging and data capture applications
* Strong problem determination and resolution skills, including root cause analysis
* Understanding of Change and Release Management
* Understanding of Incident and Problem Management
* Experience of scripting, integration and automation tools
* Understanding of testing processes
* Familiarity with Windows environment, security and administration
* General knowledge of all aspects of the software engineering process
* Be available to travel domestically and internationally as required
