Job Summary:

As an Oracle EDI Specialist, you will be part of Global Oracle team. Reporting directly to the Director of Enterprise applications, you will be responsible for Oracle EDI specifics of the installation- working with other team members. You will gather process redesign requirements, coordinate and participate in development activities, and support the testing and implementation and support of Oracle e-Commerce gateway. Your focus on developing detailed functional knowledge of one or two product modules and understanding the business and technical integration issues associated with those modules.

Responsibilities:

* Work with the team members to deliver an EDI Solution from start to finish
* Support existing EDI transactions
* Anticipate challenges and recommend creative solutions
* Apply best practices and a detailed understanding of Oracle EDI to design a total solution
* Assisting in the daily support of the EDI system as well as setting up and ensuring communications are always functional with our customer base.
* Responsible for the full cycle of an EDI project from analyzing EDI specifications, dealing with both internal and external customers in transaction design and issue resolution.
* Establishing new and maintaining existing scripts necessary to support EDI functions, including FTP scripts and PL/SQL Scripts (must be able to write SQL queries to extract information from a database)
* Interprets requirements data, maps current and future state business processes to the packaged application(s) being implemented, and develops plans to address functional gaps between the packaged application and the redesigned processes (Business).
* Develops depth of implementation experience to address multiple integration points between functions, related interface and data conversion issues, and expanded setup and configuration requirements (Business).
* Responsible for File Exchange server (AS2)
* Will set up the trading partners creation and management
* Day to day interactions and Monitoring EDI documents

Requirements:

* Minimum 5 years experience with EDI in a technical EDI role.
* Requires experience with AS2, Oracle e-commerce Gateway or other EDI integration tools. Complete understanding of the Oracle EDI Gateway, version 11i required.
* Knowledge of ASC X12 document structures and mapping concepts
* Has implemented transaction sets 850,855,860,8651,865, 810,940, and 945
* General understanding of the Oracle Financial and Order Management Modules
* Ability to provide strategic leadership and develop best practices
