Responsibilities:
Layout all types of vertical and horizontal transportation equipment (Elevators and Facade Equipments)
Coordinate project design and drawing delivery with Project Managers, making changes if needed to meet altered needs.
Coordination of layout drawings with clients/architects.
Answer inquiries and explain the pros and cons of equipment choices.
Investigate, develop, organize and calculate vertical transportation equipment data, dimensions, electrical requirements, structural reactions, and related technical data.
Research elevator codes and building codes as related to job description. Develop AutoCAD drafting methods for efficiency.
Interpret specifications as related to job description.
Research new product data, and maintain a knowledge base of vertical and horizontal transportation vendor layout requirements.
Responsible for assigned projects, including meeting deadlines, estimating time for tasks, juggling multiple projects, and accuracy.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
At least 10 to 15 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Experienced with AutoCAD Inventor & Drafting Software.
Computer savvy (spreadsheets, word processing, internet, ftp sites, peripherals, etc.)
