Responsibilities:
Strategize, manage and execute creative web-based marketing campaigns designed to generate user generated content, press, links and break through the clutter of the social web
Lead discovery and brainstorming sessions and document client requirements
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, benchmark positioning, website audits and keyword strategy
Drive relevant, targeted traffic to client web properties for conversion goals
Develop social media strategies to rally communities behind consumer products
Develop user personas and scenarios
Document integrated digital marketing plan through a creative/media brief
Collaborate with Creative Development and Web Production teams to ensure the execution of documented strategies
Requirements:
4 year degree in the background of marketing, communications, advertising or related field
At least 5 years experience in a web strategy or web marketing role
A thorough understanding of all aspects of online marketing (search and social media marketing, media buying, etc.)
Strong blog marketing skills, the ideal candidate has their own blog they have successfully marketed and built a subscriber base to, or case studies of client blog successes.
Ability to process and understand web analytics, and deliver actionable recommendations to clients
Passion for social media and interacting with bloggers
Deep understanding of Twitter, Facebook, Friendster and other platform-specific social media sites
Know how to get the web buzzing about major consumer brands
Fluent in SEO/SEM
Ability to articulate ideas clearly at all levels in the company (everyone from Executive Management to Creative Team, development and Online Marketing Team) and the client
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
